Who was Right

One Christmas time so long ago
We had some fun, I’m sure you know
Armed with water pistols
The mood was go, go; go
To this day the stain is on the wall
Ted Watson started as I recall

They say first impressions always last
But mine of you have surely passed

When first I saw you, I wondered why
You could not be much more like I

The things you did, you did them strong
Yet I was right and you were wrong

Through years and years, you taught to me
Your love for others, how strong it could be

Not once have you quarreled or shown me strife
You hide all the secrets you have in your life

The lessons you taught me, I hope I learned well
Your love and devotion brought me under your spell

Now this my plea
For I can see
That I was wrong
And you were right

To Mom and Dad.
Thank you for all that you have done and mean to Val the kids and me.
Love tiny.
