I cannot fix every broken heart
I cannot mend every crooked way
I cannot turn back the pages of life
That have already been lived
Lord so many lives have been messed up
So many people have deep regrets
What can I do to make this world a better place
I too am a part of the problem Lord
I am also guilty of crooked ways
Lord this place seems void of any hope
Is there anyone among us who is worthy
Of even trying to do anything for us
Behold the Lamb of God
The One who took upon Himself
The sin of this world
The One who stood in our place
My place
And paid a price to set us free
Free from the bondage this world
Has placed on our lives.
Come to Him. Bow down to Him
Give your lives to Him
Even as He has given His Life to you and me
Accept Him as your Lord and Savour
And see how He can set you free
For He is the Author and Finisher of your life
He has come to set the captives free
He has come to bring a New Day
In your lives and mine
Thank Him and Praise Him
For He is the only One
Who could pay the Ultimate Sacrifice
The Perfect Price
For with His very own Life
He hung and died
In my place and yours
Thank You Lord
Thank You for the Cross
That sets me free
