In each person’s life there are two doors, one in front of you, and one behind you.
Each door is made of glass. The one behind you is a clear glass, and when you look through it, you can see way back.
The one in front of you is a frosted glass. You can barely make out the images behind this glass.
Each glass door has a label on it. The one in front of you is called: Tomorrow. The one behind you is called: Yesterday.
You have the key to open any one of these doors. The key is your self will.
So often we turn around, look through to yesterday and say, “I remember the good old times. If only things were like that now.” We then go and pitch our tent back in those old days, and keep on wishing for times to change to the way things used to be.
Well, some people have wised up, and realize that no matter how much you keep wishing, you will never be able to bring back the past.
Turning around, they look at the door in front of them, and dream of how they can change the world: “When my ship comes in, and I get a load of money, I will be able to do all those things I cannot do now.” They then pitch their tent in tomorrow and forget what they have today.
You see, all we have is the short space between the two doors. It is called “Now.”
And the time is more subtle than ‘Yesterday’ or ‘Tomorrow’!
To be more exact the labels on the doors read: “Last second” and “Next second”
