One can walk into a church and be overwhelmed!
One can be overwhelmed by the warm welcome
Given by cheerful Greeters standing at the door.
Overwhelmed by the beauty of the place.
Overwhelmed by the building or the decorations.

One can be overwhelmed by the stained windows that
Tell of a Fathers’ Love for His children.
One can be overwhelmed by the people in the church.
Or one can be overwhelmed by the Worship Team
Who take the congregation into God’s Own Presence.

One can be overwhelmed by the stirring words
Of the sermon preached by a powerful Pastor.
One can be overwhelmed by a congregation united.
All this builds Your people up to be
Overwhelmed by Your Presence O Lord!

Come Lord as we fill this place with the beauty of man.
Come and overwhelm us with the
Beauty that belongs only to You.
Then Lord we can humbly come to
Worship You in the Beauty of Holiness.
