Leader

Many people think they are leaders.
Others have challenged them to, “Turn around
and see if anybody is following you!”

True leaders aim for a goal and
Keep their eyes fixed on that goal
Until they accomplish what they have set out to do.

They don’t look behind because they know;
Looking back causes us to lose sight
Of our goal or purpose to life.

People will see the leaders’ vision and
Will naturally want to follow.
When a good leader becomes aware
That people are following;
He will become a servant to them,
And help them reach the goal as well,
Without losing sight of where he is going.
