Footsteps

When we became Christians, it was the Greatest thing that ever happened to us.

That large bag of garbage we lugged around the World was suddenly taken away. We were set free, and started a New Life in Christ. Jesus lives in our heart!

As we walk along, we find that after some time things are not quite what we expected, and we feel that we are walking alone. It seems our struggles are too big for us to handle, and all we can do is cry out to the Lord in hopelessness.

In times like these it seems one can hear footsteps behind us. When we turn around, the Lord Himself is walking up to us with an Arm outstretched to put on our shoulder. Now Arms on shoulders we walk on.
But He is in my heart! i didn’t know that He wants to walk with me as well! This is Great!
It seems my Christian walk is so much better, and off I go again on the journey He has destined for my life.
Not too long after this I hear, “Come up here. Come up here!”
I look up to see the Lord some distance above me, calling me.
“How am I going to get up there? Who am I? I’m not worthy of such a high calling. Why choose me?” And the excuses go on!
But who is walking with me? Jesus!!! He wants to help you and me to reach a higher walk with Him.

When I get up there I’m amazed at what I see. Now I’m Flabbergasted at how He is using me, and how easy this walk is. Why did I wait so long to get up here?
So, I start walking down this new Highway He called me to.
And the cycle begins all over. Again, I get to a point where He calls me even higher.

Higher and higher we go, as He restores you and me to the Image, He Created us to be:
Even the Image of the Father.

All of Heaven Groans for us to come to a place where “I” say, “Here I am, Lord use me.”

Note: “I” is each one of us! This is a Personal walk

When the Lord hears us saying, “Here I am!” it puts us in a place where Heaven can break through, and His Will can be released on Earth as it is in Heaven.
This is for now! Not for when we get up there!

How do we get to that place where God can really use us, use me, to further His Kingdom?
By listening to every Word that comes out of His Mouth for “me”! (Matt. 4: 4)

How do we know that He will Talk to me, and tell me anything!

My sheep know My Voice! John 10: 27

If we are His “sheep”, we better listen to Him, or we will be devoured by the enemy!
