God wants to use each Christian to bring others to His Kingdom. As we tell others about Jesus and His love for them, we become like straws. His love flows through us.
Imagine, a friend tells you that the restaurant he goes to sells ‘the world’s best’ milk shakes. He tells you the many different flavors they have, and how each one has its own topping. You can’t wait to try these shakes.
On a given day you and your friends go to the restaurant. You all place your orders, and visualize the shake you are going to be served. Unbeknown to you, the straw they put in you shake has a bit of old car oil in it. The moment you get your order, you do not hesitate to take a large gulp of the amazing…Ugh!
No amount of arguing is now going to convince you of this restaurant’s good shakes.
When we go to tell others about Jesus, we should be clean vessels.
