Man’s futile effort to prove God wrong is like the one who stands on the rim of an old volcano. The volcano has not erupted for many, many years.
Jumping up and down the man shouts, “Come on you lazy dog, do something, prove yourself. You are useless.” Kicking the dirt and hurling boulders down the jagged sides he continues his jeers and mockery.
Little does the man realize that this very mountain is but a few minutes away from making St. Helens look like child’s play.
Often times people taunt the Lord about His inability to do anything about the problems on Earth.
Our job as Christians is to persuade these people to do a 180 degree turn around, as the Lord is about to do something far greater than ever before.
